UPDATE:  many of you have contacted me about Craft Art Edu no longer being available.  In case you missed their emails, here is some info for you to get classes you have already paid for, but you need to do it right away.  Below is from an email they sent out.

All you have to do is email us and let us know you want us to create the list for you. It's that easy! We are committed to making sure everyone has access to the classes they paid for.

On September 1, 2017, when you type in CraftArtEdu.com, you will go to a NEW landing page which will tell you how to reach us.

I wish all of you the very best in your creative endeavors, and continue to be humbled by the joy and love so many of you have expressed toward CraftArtEdu. It has been an amazing journey, and one each of us here at CraftArtEdu will treasure.

As for me, I just wanted to say that I am really sad to see them go.  They treated their artists with the utmost respect.  They paid us fair wages and rather than compromise fairness and quality, they decided to fold.  I have nothing but respect for Donna and her team and was glad to have been a part of it, even if for a short a time.

If you did not have a chance to purchase my classes through them, i do have them and am working on a way to sell them here on this site.  If you are interested in them, or, if you are local and want to know about some new in person classes I am working on, please sign up for my newsletter on the landing page and info will be sent out as soon as it is available.

Thank you all so much.

The act of creation is one of the most joyous things in my life.  I think when we create, we tap into a part of ourselves we don't get to be in touch with everyday.  I love to see this happen for others as well, and so, I love teaching.  And, if I can save you some time, frustration and materials, in order for you to grow in your artistic vocabulary, then it is time well spent.  Besides, I love being in a room full of people eager to learn something new together and share methods and ideas and tips.

I am teaching a class this August at Beadfest in Philadelphia PA.

Thursday August 17th from 8:30 am till 12:30pm

Heart of Stone- polymer clay class will teach you how to form and texture these lovely heart focals, paint them and then make them into two different style neckalces.  For more details or to sign up, click here.

I offer a couple online classes as well.

I have few classes on Craft Art Edu:

Gold Rush: The Rustic Crackle Technique

You can view the preview or purchase it here.

You learn the secret to making that highly textured crackle, as well as painting techniques, like my other surface crackle technique.  It is packed with things you can use in many new ways!

There is also a FREE CLASS on Craft Art Edu on how to make and paint these fun beads!

You can take that class here

My newest class is Carving Polymer Clay with Staci Louise Smith

Learn to form, color the clay prior to baking and to carve some really fun designs into it.  It just may be your newest addiction!

You can preview and purchase that class here.

I also have a class on CraftCast- The Painted Polymer Talisman Class

In this class you learn to make the beads, paint them with my techniques and assemble a fun and assymetrical necklace
